Our main entrance is situated at the front enterance of the school. We have two car parks. Our staff car park is located at the main enterance and we have a small visitors car park located near the main reception. Deliveries are received at the front of the building accessed through the visitor's car park. All visitors must sign in at the school office upon arrival.

Growing spaces and allotments have their own place on the school grounds. Wemms has gradually re-established this for the enjoyment of students and visitors over the previous few months.
At Wemms, we are lucky enough to have our own swimming pool, where all the students enjoy weekly swimming lessons. We do have the changing rooms and have a shower installed. The swimming pool is also available for the staff during the social gathering and on holidays.
Our indoor sports court provide a high-quality facility that is accessible and enjoyable for both students and staff. In addition to football, badminton, basketball, fencing, trampoline, and gymnastics, this multi-use sports court can be used for a wide range of indoor sports activities.
Science wing is located on the second floor of the main building, where we provides our students with state-of-the-art resources to teach, experiment, and learn. Wemms has a fantastic science curriculum, supported by experienced, forward-thinking instructors.
We aim to raise cultured young people who respect the importance of art and design in the world in which they live and work. We also seek to foster the sense of wonder and interest that pushes children to make connections and comprehend connections in everything they experience via our studio-based learning.
Reading is a strongly held interest at Wemms. Students may borrow books from our well-stocked library, relax while reading, and finish their assignments at any time.
Our Drama department is regarded as great. Every year, the department presents a variety of chances for students to expand their theatrical experience beyond the classroom. As part of a larger Performing Arts team, the department collaborates closely with the Music department, and there are many cross-curricular connections between the courses.

Pupils at Wemms engage on an exciting path that leads to language proficiency and cultural awareness in French, German, and Spanish. The MFL Department is committed to 'bringing out the best' in all students by providing them with the chance to explore various cultures via the delightful experience of learning new languages.
Wemms believes that good Maths instruction is founded on our fundamental values, and we are constantly proud of our great and dynamic Maths Department. The Department is considered as one of the best, and we are happy that our young mathematicians have performed exceptionally well in recent GCSE exams.
In addition to preparing students for their future careers, we also teach them critical life skills, attitudes, and behaviours that will help them successfully navigate adulthood. Our indoor instruction and outdoor physical activity give our children the best learning opportunities.
In the SENCo department we ensure that all the students have their needs and provision met. We work closely with students and parents to review their EHCP's annually. We liaise closely with students and staff to ensure they continue to thrive in all four areas of: communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social, emotional and mental health and with their physical and sensory needs.
Cooking with children in schools encourages healthy eating as a life skill from a young age. Wemms has developed a complete food and culinary activity program designed to assist in bringing cooking into the classroom and making healthy eating a way of life for the entire Wemms community.
The school administration staff ensures that the organisation runs smoothly and oversees both facilities and employees.
The Middle School are facilitated by five beautiful class rooms, four of which with separate outdoor playgrounds; a cookery and canteen area; a science laboratory and art studio, and a specialist SALT and OT provision room. The classrooms are fully equipped with interactive whiteboards, lots of natural sunlight, and an open and airy feel throughout, giving our younger students the ability to 'breathe easy' and relax within their learning environment.
Wemms' music department strives to provide its students with the best musical experience possible. While making music, students improve their skills, gain knowledge, and realise their potential.
From year 4, ICT is taught as a separate topic at Wemms. Students improve their abilities through a variety of exercises and projects using Laptops, desktops or Raspberry Pi computers. The ICT curriculum incorporates robotics and other physical computing activities, using Scratch and Python programming languages. Students can also learn a variety of other ICT skills, such as Office 365, web design, graphic design, podcasting, video editing and cybersecurity.
Our open grass fields are suitable for a number of outdoor active activities where our students enjoy them in a nice, healthy and fresh environment. They are great for fitness groups, outdoor events and various other sports activities.
Our primary goal is to comprehend how texts and languages operate and interact beyond national boundaries. English literature, creative writing, contemporary languages, linguistics, intercultural communication, and translation studies are all part of our curriculum.
Our Humanities department offers subjects that study aspects of human society, culture, social and environmental science. The five areas that make up our Humanities department include Geography, History, Psychology, Sociology and Government & Politics. The humanities teach us to question everything, to want to know how things work, and to wonder how they can be made to work better. We strive to give our students a broad understanding of the world and enable them to analyse and evaluate their knowledge.
A well-designed outdoor exercise area can serve as a 'outdoor classroom' where students can pick up new skills, interact with peers, and broaden their knowledge when it comes to children's social and physical development.
