Discovering the Charms of Southern Spain: Wemms Students’ Cultural Expedition

Wemms students embarked on a trip to explore the beauty and culture of southern Spain. The trip took them to three of the region’s most vibrant cities – Cadiz, Puerto de Santa Maria, and Sevilla – where they immersed themselves in the local traditions and way of life. Seeing Leatherhead town centre in a whole new perspective – A Geography Field Trip

A 60-strong Wemms group embarked on a geography field trip to build a picture of Leatherhead’s town centre. Undeterred by the damp wet weather (yes it was a typical UK summer day!), the team headed off to the park for a picnic lunch and a briefing, which set out the mission objective: understand how the UK town centre is ever-changing and evolving. Once suitably fed and watered, the group reformed as smaller teams before setting off to look at the town centre with a whole new perspective. Wemms at Chessington World of Adventure

Wemms provides plenty of opportunities for our students to enjoy and experience a wide range of trips, designed to be fun, friendship-building and finding out new facts about the world we live in. Wemms residential trip 2021

As part of the enrichment programme offered at Wemms, forty staff and fifty-five students left Leatherhead behind and departed for Devon to enjoy a week of sport and craft-based activities at the wonderful Manor House Hotel. Muscles were used during the sporting activities that many had not been aware of for some time, as well as for adorning the faces of all with smiles and laughter throughout the course of our stay.
